Chapel Hill Branch Engaged Senior with Music and Crafts

On 11-11-17, Grace, Bei Bei, Rebecca, Nicholas, and Mark came to perform at the retirement center. Alongside the musical performers was Wen and Peter, who came to teach the seniors how to make a rose only using the Play-Doh and a straw. Before the hands-on activity, Grace played the piano and Rebecca played the Ruan. Together with Bei Bei and all the seniors, they sang Que Sera Sera. Mark also came to play the piano though he had a tennis tournament earlier that day. Just like his brother Mark, Nicholas still played saxophone despite his arm injury. After the performance, the show moved on to the newly established arts and crafts section. Many of the residents at the retirement center were very happy making rose and pleased with their own results. Because of the wonderful concert and the Play-Doh activity, this week was the best yet and also had the highest turnout of seniors.
