On October 14, 2017, the Chapel Hill Branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders were invited to hold another concert at Meadowmont Senior Living Center since the seniors enjoyed our performances very much. The nine members of the Alliance Youth Leaders who attended this activity were Bei Bei, Carolyn, Christina, Grace, Mark, Rebecca, Jiarong, Nicholas, and Selina. At this performance, Grace, Mark, and Carolyn played the piano, Jiarong played the Hu Lu Si, Nicholas on the saxophone, Christina on the clarinet, Selina on the flute, and Rebecca on the Ruan. Selina gave a small introduction to begin the group off as well as encouraged some of the elders or the audience to speak up about any suggestions that would help improve their experience with our group. The most remarkable piece that day was when Bei Bei (played the guitar), Grace (played the piano), and Rebecca collaborated by performing and singing with the seniors. This performance was a great success in creating joy all around.
