On Saturday, November 11th, a group of AYLUS volunteers went to the annual Pearland Veteran’s Day Walk to volunteer. They arrived early and helped set up the event with the help of city officials and the local boy scouts. When the preparations were complete, the participants and volunteers all listened to city officials and veterans telling their story. Each member was positioned along the route with food and water and gave encouragement to those who passed during the walk. The walk may have lasted only an hour but each member who contributed felt something much more important. In the end, AYLUS will donate over 3,000 shirts to the William Beaumont Army Medical Center.
