San Diego Students Started First Lagoon Nature Project on June 17, 2017

On a beautiful morning in San Diego, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS worked for the whole morning to remove weeds from the San Elijo Lagoon. There are many animal and bird species living in the Lagoon. A professional biologist Mr. Joe DeWolf who works in the park, educated the students with facts on biology, ecology, ecosystem, and convervation.  The students plan to work again in the Lagoon in the summer to keep the Lagoon forever beautiful.

The students who participated in the project are: Mike Bai, Jeffrey Guo, Nathan Guo, Anthony Jiang, Claire Jiang, Eric Li, Raymond Li, Andrew Peng, Richard Wu, Stephen Yang, Andrew Zhang, Ashley Zhang, Patrick Zhang, Samantha Zhu.
