The performers, Hunter Han, Michael Ma, Emma Jiang, Serena Li, and Albon Wu performed a total of eight pieces ranging from duets to sonatas. After the performance, several seniors reached out to the performers to give their thanks.

On January 11, members of AYLUS Sugar Land volunteered at Memorial Park in Sugar Land. Members cleaned the park’s Butterfly Garden, where they had planted several trees a few weeks earlier. In addition to clearing dead branches and miscellaneous items from the area, members also trimmed decaying parts from the now-grown trees.

Working diligently in the food bank’s large cold room, members organized, packaged, and transported various forms of produce. In total, several pallets’ worth of fresh fruits and vegetables were boxed for distribution.
Sugar Land Branch Volunteers at Park Over Thanksgiving Break
On November 26, the Sugar Land Branch volunteered at Memorial Park in Sugar Land. The park’s Butterfly Garden, established three years ago, required additional development and maintenance; members consequently assisted in maintaining and expanding the garden. They planted 12 new trees, watered the garden’s plants, and removed weeds.
