On September 8th, 2020, three students from Brookline High School in Massachusetts founded the eighty-second branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS): Brookline, MA.
Description of the Brookline Branch
The Brookline Branch of AYLUS focus primarily on music. We believe that music is beauty: every note, every measure written on a music sheet mirrors the colors carefully painted on a canvas that compose a finished painting. Our primary goal is to perform at various venues and expand our performance region. Many of the students at our high school are very skilled and dream of becoming musicians. Volunteering is an excellent opportunity to gain more practice performing music. From our own personal experiences, we know opportunities to play in front of audiences raises our musical skills. However, we wish to share our music in a volunteer capacity and, because of the continued social restrictions, Brookline branch of AYLUS will allow us to perform and explore our collective musical talents, and benefit our audiences.
