On November 15, 2017, four co-founders of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS) founded the thirty-fifth branch for the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS) in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA.

The founders of the Rancho Santa Margarita Branch are Amanda Cai, Phoebe Cao, Katie Zhou, and Andrea McMillan.
There are currently 32 members in the RSM Branch.
The Description of Rancho Santa Margarita Branch
Located in Southern California, our goal is to provide a multitude of opportunities for our members in order to further their leadership skills, improve their personal development, and make a difference in our community.
Through participating in community service and other extracurricular events, our branch will encourage our members to take be dedicated, independent, and innovative. Some examples of our current projects include making blankets and cards for patients in hospitals, volunteering at food banks, assisting in local events, and playing music for senior centers. We additionally have plans to launch more projects that will branch out from current fields.
Our branch’s mission is to create an environment for students with different mindsets to collaborate in order to better both the community and ourselves. We believe that by broadening our values of teamwork and commitment, with every member’s contribution, we can truly make our society a better place.
