The Birmingham Branch of AYLUS has collaborated frequently with their local food banks and pantries, helping combat food insecurity in Alabama. On October 10, members of the AYLUS Birmingham Branch volunteered at the Central Alabama Food Bank. They spent time in the warehouse sorting food, packing program boxes, and doing quality control. These boxes were then issued to Mobile Pantries and partner agencies to be distributed to those in need throughout the community.
