Greater Princeton AYLUS Volunteers at Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (1st-2nd) in June 2021

Starting June 22nd, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) members went to the Mercer Street Friends Food Bank (824 Silvia Street, Ewing, NJ 08628) to help organize donated food items.

GPA honors the equality of all people and strives for a just, prosperous, and peaceful society for all. We respond to the needs of the community to build alliances that will have the most meaningful impact in addressing issues of poverty. 

GPA members create a range of integrated services that build community, nurture self-worth and independence, and offer resources for children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and its lasting effects. Below are personal feelings of the GPA volunteers:

Participants on 6/22 (3.5 hrs for all): Lan Cheng, Pengyue Gao, Helen Zhang, Gordon Zhang, Claire Cheng, Cosner Yang, Leena Chang, Larry Hu, Cynthia Jinghui Huang, Audrey Wang, and more.

Participants on 6/23 (3.5 hrs for all): Gina Shen, Kathie Wang (plus 1 hr of reporting), Conser Yang, Zhihan Daniel Zhang, Cynthia Jinghui Huang, Audrey Wang, and more.
