AYLUS don’t forget the children. With the new year 2021 already arrived, the Greater Princeton branch of AYLUS (GPA) has started a series of Save the Children events, including toys, games, books, decorations & more for donations, virtual concerts, tutoring, and more to help children through this COVID-19 pandemic.
Donation Participants: Xinyi Christine Zhang (1/14, 3 hrs, flyers), Cassie Tammy Wang (1/14, 1 hr), Sarah Yan (1/17, 1 hr), Erick Yan (1/17, 1 hr).
As for the virtual concert for children to enjoy, GPA is organizing performance video submissions until February 19th. The videos can be anything ranging from dance, to singing, to magic tricks, to playing an instrument, preferably musical ensembles!
Video requirements:
– For this virtual performance, we ask that you submit videos with at least 720p quality and taken at a stable angle.
– Please make sure that the performer is in the center of the screen
– Make sure the audio is loud and clear with minimum background noise (that means no wind, other people’s voice, etc).
– Please send the ORIGINAL video performance and NOT recorded off of another screen. We will also not accept recordings that are in a dimly lit setting.
– Please record the video horizontally not vertically.
If the submission does not fulfill the above requirements, it may very well likely be excluded from the performance. We encourage you to submit performances we haven’t seen before.
