In mid-July, the Gladstone Branch wrote cards for Cards for Hospitalized Children. The Gladstone Branch is happy to receive a Thank You letter from this organization for their cards sent last May. The branch hopes to spread hope, joy and magic to hospitalized kids across America through these encouraging and uplifting cards and messages.
Even if we don’t know a patient by name we can still spread happiness by sending a greeting card to a child receiving treatment. Our branch would like to continue doing this activity. The team members (Travis Xue, Owen Luo, Jenny Xu, Angela Xu, Duc Nguyen, and Ben Chee) spent time and used their creativity to make handmade cards again in August and sent them to Cards for Hospitalized Kids for distribution to hospitals. We are proud to have done this activity to help brighten the days of many hospitalized kids.
