On July 21, 2020, members and advisors of the Birmingham Branch met to help clean up Moss Rock Preserve. Members split up to cover the many trails at Moss Rock and were able to remove a wide variety of debris, including water bottles, beer cans, plastic products, and even discarded clothes. Volunteers were able to remove more than 20 pounds of trash and dispose of it safely from the nature preserve to improve the environment for visitors and protect the natural wildlife and surroundings. The Birmingham Branch was more than glad to help in maintaining the overall cleanliness and natural beauty of Moss Rock Preserve.
