Greater Princeton AYLUS Reached out to Proud Sponsors in Princeton on December 21, 2019, Establishing Long Term Partnerships for a Better Community

Reported by Cassie Tammy Wang

On December 21, 2019, a week after the 2nd Save A Life Benefit Music Performance in Princeton, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) leadership team spent 2 hours with two proud sponsors: Princeton Violins and Violin & Co, both have agreed to establish long-term partnerships with GPA for a better community.

Princeton Violins (princetonviolins.com, 240 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542, Tel: 609-683-0005) is the first sponsor to meet with today, owned by Mr. Jarek Powichrowski, a well-known violin maker, restorer, expert and dealer in the area. Mr. Powichrowski was so kind to offer GPA a free emergency loaner violin once informed that a performer’s violin encountered a problem just days before the performance. He is so glad to accept a certificate of appreciation and welcome GPA young musicians for any violin questions.

Violin & Co, Home of JC Strings (violinandco.com, 4110 Quakerbridge Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, Tel: 609-936-9038) is the second sponsor to meet with today, owned by Mr. Cezar Mateus, a master in violin, viola, cello, and base serving the Greater Princeton area for many years. Mr. Mateus was also helpful in offering a performer a loaner viola, quick and free repair on a violin with a broken peg, keeping the recent Benefit Music Performance smooth and successful. Upon receiving a certificate of appreciation, Cezar promised to have it framed on the wall to let his clients know more about AYLUS.

In addition, the GPA leadership team presented certificates of appreciation to three more sponsors of the benefit music performance: pianist Mr. Hanbo Liu, vocalists Ms. Shirley Xia Li and Ms. Linli Ye, who sent in their top students even themselves to perform at the concert in Princeton on Dec. 14, 2019. GPA was so grateful for their generous support and contributions!

All sponsors have gladly agreed to maintain a long-term partnership with AYLUS student volunteer organization for a better community and mutual development.

THANK YOU OUR PROUD SPONSORS!
