AYLUS Garden City Volunteers Continue KIFP Brown Bag Project and Social Media Work 11/1/2026

AYLUS Garden City volunteers continued their community service efforts by working on the KIFP (Kids Independent Food Program at NOSH Delivers) brown bag project. Lynnea, Luis, and Daniel decorated brown bags to help bring creativity and a personal touch to a food assistance program serving children and families in need.

Through this project, students use their artistic skills to support an important community initiative. The activity also reminds students that small acts of creativity and kindness can make a difference in the lives of others. By contributing their time and effort, volunteers help make the program more welcoming for the children and families it serves.

After working on the brown bags, Lynnea and Luis continued developing AYLUS Garden City’s social media presence. They worked on ways to share the chapter’s community service activities, highlight volunteer contributions, and promote upcoming opportunities to participate in local projects.

Building a social media presence is an important part of growing a student-led volunteer organization. Through this work, students gain practical experience in digital communication, content development, collaboration, and outreach while helping the chapter connect with the broader community.

By combining hands-on community service with social media development, AYLUS Garden City encourages students to take initiative, collaborate with peers, and build leadership skills while supporting local community needs.
