On October 16, 2026, members of the AYLUS Greater Buffalo Branch were proud to support immigrants and refugees in building a welcoming and supportive community in Buffalo. Our volunteers worked with Bridges From Borders (BFB) through the OneWorld Youth Orchestra, helping participants connect with one another and build meaningful relationships beyond their regular rehearsals.
During the activity, AYLUS volunteers helped create and practice music with participants in preparation for the annual concert and community celebration. Through music, teamwork, and shared experiences, volunteers helped create a friendly and inclusive environment while promoting cultural understanding and strengthening connections within the community.
Volunteers: Jeffrey Li, Enze Liu, Aria Liang, Ian Yao, Richard Hu, Alex Wei, Orlanda Xia, Ashley Chi, Paisley Chi, Enrica Liu, Elijah Zhuang, Yuhan Yan, Ethan Zhuang (1.5 hours)
