AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 149th (9/29/26)

On Tuesday, September 29, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch held a successful tutoring session at the Great Neck Station Library. Summer worked with three students, helping one practice Spanish, another review math, and a third learn the 50 states. Ivy supported students in fourth- and sixth-grade math, adjusting her explanations to match each student’s grade level. Brian helped students with French, social studies, and math, answering questions and reviewing topics they found challenging. Zhaoxi worked with a student on preparation for the English state exam, focusing on reading and writing skills. Olivia Kang assisted students with reading and math, while Siwoo provided support in AMC math and Spanish. Xingzhi helped students study U.S. geography and U.S. history, and Junlin guided students through sixth-grade English and math. Throughout the session, the tutors gave students individual attention and helped them build confidence in their schoolwork. The next session will be held on Thursday, October 1.
