On September 19th, 2026, Frisco & Plano branch volunteers participated in our weekly Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) volunteer packing event. When we arrived, each volunteer was given a hairnet and attended an introduction to FMSC and their packing guidelines. Following that, volunteers moved into another room to begin the packing session, designated as either a weigher, sealer, bag opener, boxer, ingredient feeder, or warehouse worker. There were also many new volunteers at this event, creating a more diverse group of people working together. Each table worked as a team to prepare the MannaPacks that would be sent to various underserved communities. Throughout the packing session, challenges were held between and within tables, allowing the experience to become more motivating and enjoyable. Overall, AYLUS volunteers and other community members helped pack over 100 boxes of MannaPacks, exceeding our expectations. Thank you to all the volunteers who participated in this event!
