On August 9th, 2026, members of the Fairfax AYLUS Branch partnered with non-profit organization Pieces of Illumination and visited the Brightview Senior Living Center to help assist in trivia games and make beautiful flower bouquets from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Together, they were able to provide members at the senior center a fun afternoon, filled with learning and laughter.
Brightview offers seniors with day-to-day assistance, and special care for people who are living with dementia, ALS, and other conditions. Not only does the organization offer all residents with necessary support, comfortable apartments, and meals, but also a full calendar of engaging community events, such as the one the AYLUS team participated in.
