On Thursday, September 10th, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch had a productive evening at the Great Neck Station Library. Although less than last time, there was still a considerably large amount of tutees that attended. To start off, Brian Zhang worked with a seventh grade student, focusing on math, science, and English. Later, he worked on a French language assignment with another student. Next, Olivia Kang tutored two third graders, with each one having different tasks; one with beginner reading and one with basic math. Adding on, Junlin Yu participated in English, reading, and writing-based work, simultaneously helping another child with algebra when needed. Summer Lu performed AMC 8 math questions with a student, and Xingzi Li taught American colonialism history while speaking in another language. Similarly, Ivy worked with one pair of twins with ELA work in Chinese. Finally, Zhaoxi Chen read with a student, practicing English and language fluidity. Overall, it was a busy day, with lots of kids and work; nevertheless, it was sucessful. The next session will be on Tuesday, September 15th.
