AYLUS Morris Branch members partnered with GRACE (Giving and Receiving Assistance for Our Community’s Essentials) to support local families in need through a donation drive focused on infant and baby essentials.
Members collected infant diapers and various baby items, including essential supplies that families with young children can use every day. Volunteers carefully gathered, checked, and organized the donated items to ensure they were clean, appropriate, and ready for distribution. By collecting these necessities, AYLUS members helped provide practical support to families who may be experiencing financial challenges while caring for infants and young children.
On the morning of September 10, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., AYLUS Morris Branch members delivered the collected donations to GRACE. GRACE helps connect community resources with local individuals and families who need essential household and personal-care items. The donated diapers and baby supplies will be distributed through GRACE to families in the community, helping them meet the everyday needs of their young children.
This service project gave AYLUS members an opportunity to recognize an important need in the community and respond through direct action. It also strengthened the partnership between AYLUS Morris Branch and GRACE and demonstrated how youth volunteers can make a meaningful difference by collecting and providing essential resources. Members were proud to contribute to the well-being of local families and look forward to continuing their collaboration with GRACE through future donation drives and community service projects.
