On August 21, 2026, Murrieta AYLUS members worked at Jacob’s House Garden.
It’s an exciting harvest season, members were delighted to discover that the beefsteak and Roma tomatoes had ripened an some eggplants too. Members picked a few fresh tomatoes to taste, and they were incredibly sweet and delicious.
After enjoying the harvest, members trimmed the tomato trees to improve air circulation. There will be more tomatoes and eggplants to be harvested next time. Members also did light maintenance as usal, they removed weeds ,watered all of the plants, cleaned up the leaves etc.
