On August 22nd, 2026, Frisco & Plano AYLUS volunteers spent part of their day volunteering at a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) packing event. When they arrived, volunteers were given hairnets and listened to a short presentation introducing FMSC and explaining the proper packing procedures. After the introduction, volunteers entered the packing area and were assigned to different stations, such as weighing, sealing, bag opening, boxing, and ingredient feeding. Working together at each table, volunteers prepared MannaPack meals that would be distributed to underserved communities around the world. Each meal pack consisted of rice, soy, dried vegetables, and vitamins, providing a nutritious and filling meal for those in need. During the packing session, volunteers also took part in several friendly competitions and challenges between tables, making the experience more engaging and enjoyable. AYLUS volunteers worked alongside other community members while making sure to follow the necessary hygiene and packing guidelines. Once the packing was finished, volunteers helped clean up and organize the area before leaving. Overall, the volunteers helped pack meals that will be sent to children and families in underserved communities. Thank you to all volunteers who participated in this event!
