AYLUS Morris Branch partnered with the Grace Episcopal Church in Madison to support a back-to-school donation drive benefiting the Madison Center for Evaluation & Counseling. Recognizing that many local families need extra support as the new school year begins, branch members came together to collect essential school supplies from the community. Through this effort, members gathered two large bags of school supplies, including colored pencils, folders, notebooks, and other classroom essentials that will help students start the school year prepared and confident.
Throughout the donation drive, members worked together to organize the collected items, ensuring that every donation was clean, complete, and ready for distribution. This collaborative effort reflected AYLUS’s commitment to serving the local community while encouraging youth to develop compassion, leadership, and teamwork through meaningful volunteer service.
On August 23 at 1:00 p.m., members delivered the two bags of school supplies to Grace Episcopal Church in Madison, where the donations will be distributed to families served by the Madison Center for Evaluation & Counseling. The partnership between AYLUS Morris Branch and Grace Episcopal Church demonstrates how local organizations can work together to make a positive impact on students and families in need.
Although the donation may seem simple, school supplies can make a significant difference for children beginning a new academic year. Having the necessary materials allows students to focus on learning and participate fully in the classroom.
