During the month of April, several RCA members made handmade toys for a local animal shelter. They used old T-shirts and leftover fabric to create durable toys for dogs. The members carefully cut and braided the materials to make toys that could keep the animals active and entertained while they waited for adoption or foster homes.
This project was a meaningful way for RCA members to support animals in need. It also helped the environment by reusing old materials that might otherwise have been thrown away. Through this activity, the members were able to help the shelter while also learning the importance of giving back to the community and reducing waste.
