On Sunday, August 16th, from 3:30 to 4:30pm, the team of The AYLUS Northwest Arkansas branch volunteered as tutors for Olympid Math class in Walson Chinese School. This is the first activity of this new branch and also the first class of this new semester. This class will be given weekly through the whole school year, totally 30 weeks. In the first class, Ryan, Evan, and Grey started with math puzzles to inspire students’ interest in math. In the last part of the class, a short evaluation exam was given, and the results will be used for tailoring the teaching plans. This activity is also a part of the RazorMath program. We look forward to the second class next Sunday and the new event in the New School.
