On August 13, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another successful tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. To begin, Brian helped a first-grade student with reading, teaching him how to better understand and comprehend more complex books. Next, Summer worked with a kindergarten student on reading, helping them improve their reading skills. Junlin also worked with a student on reading, helping them practice and better understand the material. Lastly, Olivia worked with another student on English, focusing on the use of new vocabulary words. Overall, it was another excellent tutoring session. All the students completed their work at a fast pace, and everyone had a great time. The tutoring sessions will continue on Tuesday, August 17.
