AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch continuation of their partnership with Chen’s Restaurant (四川印象) to promote community engagement and mutual growth, through a creative fundraising initiative. As part of this collaboration, our volunteers designed and distributed promotional flyers featuring both parties’ logos. Customers who presented the flyer at the restaurant received a free bowl of ice jelly. In return, Chen’s Restaurant (四川印象) pledged to donate 5% of the proceeds from those purchases to support our community service projects.
This partnership has proved incredibly successful. Our volunteers helped raise awareness of Chen’s Restaurant (四川印象) in the community, bringing new customers to enjoy their food, while also supporting a meaningful cause. On 08/08/2026, our youth leaders visited the restaurant to collect the donation check of $149.14. Since this donation represents 5% of the total sales generated through the promotion, our flyer campaign helped the restaurant achieve approximately $2,982.20 in additional sales (calculated as $149.14 ÷ 5%).
To show our appreciation, our youth leaders presented handmade crochet animals to the restaurant staff as a heartfelt token of thanks for their generosity and community spirit.
This collaboration has truly become a win-win success:
- Our organization raised valuable funds to support community service projects.
- The restaurant gained extra business, positive publicity, and stronger community connections.
- Both partners demonstrated how teamwork between local businesses and youth organizations can make a lasting, positive impact.
We sincerely thank Chen’s Restaurant (四川印象) for their continued support and commitment to making a difference in our community. We look forward to even more successful collaboration ahead!
We were also excited to be able to invite the founder of our branch, Jenny Wang, an incoming sophomore at MIT, to this collaboration event. She also shared insights and perspectives on the organization’s future development. Her experience and vision provided valuable guidance as we discussed ways to continue strengthening our programs and engaging more youth volunteers. We also discussed plans for the new school year, including ways to further promote our organization and its volunteer opportunities through Instagram and other social media platforms.
