On the morning of July 23 at 10:00 AM, AYLUS Morris Branch partnered with GRACE (Giving and Receiving Assistance for our Community’s Essentials) to organize a community donation drive focused on supporting women and families in need.
As part of this service initiative, AYLUS Morris Branch members and community supporters collected essential female hygiene products for donation. These personal care products are important necessities that many families and individuals may struggle to afford, yet they are often overlooked in traditional food and clothing donation drives. By collecting and donating these items, AYLUS members hoped to help meet an important and practical need within the local community.
On July 23, AYLUS members delivered the collected two boxes of female hygiene products directly to GRACE in Summit location. The donated items will be made available to community members who need assistance with essential personal care supplies. GRACE works to meet the needs of vulnerable and underserved neighbors by providing food, essential supplies, and other supportive resources.
This donation drive provided AYLUS volunteers with an opportunity to learn more about the importance of addressing the full range of needs faced by families in our community. Supporting access to personal hygiene products can help individuals maintain health, dignity, and confidence in their daily lives.
AYLUS Morris Branch is grateful to GRACE for the opportunity to partner on this meaningful community service project. We also sincerely thank all of our members, families, and community supporters who contributed donations and helped make this initiative possible.
