On Tuesday, June 16th, AYLUS volunteers gathered at the Great Neck Library Station Branch to help students with different topics. Summer helped a second grader with reading, guiding them through the material and building their confidence. Junlin and Olivia worked with a student on reading and also assisted with their writing skills. Brian helped a fourth grader tackle ratios in both standard math problems and word problems, and also took time to read with them. Overall, the tutoring session was a success and a great experience for both the volunteers and the students.
