On June 13th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Today, members first assisted with removing weeds from healthy plants and pots. Members were also involved in up-potting, the process of moving mature plants into a larger pot for better growth. Some members helped organize pots and seedling trays, making a fresh batch of dirt, and recycling old dirt by running it over a grate.
