On Saturday, May 16th, the AYLUS Houston branch returned to Katy Christian Ministries for another productive volunteer session. Over the course of 3.5 busy but impactful hours, our dedicated members focused on wiping dusty glass surfaces and organizing clothes and books. Through our efforts, we helped make the retail store significantly cleaner and more organized, directly benefiting the small business that provides $0.87 back to the community every 1 dollar it earns.
We are incredibly proud of our youth volunteers for their dedication, exceptional teamwork, and strong communication, which ensured another highly productive shift. This achievement highlights how vital young people are in responding to critical community needs. We also wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Katy Christian Ministries for approving this opportunity, and to our volunteers for their invaluable contributions.
Moving forward, we eagerly anticipate our next chance to serve at KCM as we continue our mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Volunteers (3.5 hours): Eason Jin, Zijia Xu, Lingxuan Zhu, Millie Wu, Yiwen Shen, Ruilu Ma
