On Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, AYLUS members visited NOSH, a local food pantry, to help pack food, stock shelves, and helped transport goods. Volunteers spent the day sorting food, transporting donated goods, and making KIFP bags.
Volunteers started their jobs at 9 AM by looking for jobs that needed to be done such as bringing donated food inside. Members participated in different tasks such as preparing KIFIP bags, sorting foods, or moving in goods.
Members spent the majority of the day sorting and moving food. The time at NOSH’s food pantry was very interesting because we got to see how impactful NOSH was, how everything was set up, and how we ourselves could make this community better.
Overall, this was a very fantastic experience to be a part of and to help out those who need it. NOSH will be able to help even more people in the future is great for those who want to volunteer for a cause. Volunteering today taught us that we can make a difference if we work hard enough.
