Event 131: AYLUS Morris Branch Partners with CFBNJ to Support Local Families in May 2026

On May 26 at 11:00 AM, the AYLUS Morris Branch proudly partnered with Community FoodBank of New Jersey to help fight food insecurity in the local community. Through the dedication and teamwork of AYLUS members, the branch collected a total of 48 pounds of dry and canned non-perishable food items from neighborhoods and community supporters.

After organizing and packing the donations, members delivered the food to the Hillside distribution location of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. These donations will help provide meals and support to families and individuals facing hunger across New Jersey.

This service project reflected the compassion and community spirit of AYLUS members, who worked together to make a meaningful impact. Every can and food item donated represents care, generosity, and hope for neighbors in need. The partnership with CFBNJ also gave students the opportunity to learn more about food insecurity and the importance of community service.

AYLUS Morris Branch is grateful to everyone who contributed to the food drive and helped make this effort successful. Through small acts of kindness and collective action, young volunteers can create positive change and support those who need it most.
