AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteers at Kings Point Park (60th) (5/17/2026)

On May 17th, 2026, AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteered at Kings Point Park to help improve the barbecue and picnic area for the local community. Eight volunteers participated in this activity. Using shovels, transport trolleys, and rakes, we worked together to spread large amounts of wood chips evenly across the ground. This helped cover muddy areas, flatten the surface, and create a cleaner and safer environment for visitors and families enjoying the park.

Although the work was tiring, all of the volunteers stayed committed and cooperated efficiently as a team. Some volunteers shoveled wood chips into the trolleys, while others transported and spread them evenly around the area. There was also a birthday celebration taking place nearby, and we helped clean the area afterward so the park remained clean for everyone. Through this volunteer activity, we contributed to the community and continued to uphold AYLUS’s mission of meaningful service.
