On May 15, 2026, volunteers from AYLUS support the Concerts in the Park event held at Southdown Park.
AYLUS volunteers arrived early in the afternoon to help prepare for the evening festivities. They assisted with organizing materials, setting up activity areas, and learning their assigned responsibilities.
Once the concert began, volunteers divided into two main teams to support different aspects of the event.
One group managed the information booth: distributed community surveys, handed out drinks and event freebies, and provided raffle tickets to guests. In addition, members of this team assisted on stage by raffle prizes drawing and distributing awards.
The second group supported event logistics by guiding drivers to overflow parking areas located on a nearby grass field. Their efforts ensured safe traffic flow and helped visitors find parking quickly.
As the concert concluded, all AYLUS volunteers assisted with teardown and cleanup.
Through preparation, public engagement, logistical support, and cleanup efforts, AYLUS volunteers played an important role in helping the City of Pearland host a successful community gathering.
