On May 9th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Today was LINPI’s plant sale. We assisted with clearing weeds from plants to make it look appealing to customers that would like to support the native plants. Members also spent time outside organizing plants by species, and delivering materials to the compost.
