On the breezy spring afternoon of Friday , Yucheng, Jaden, and Amber came to the park and played with Jack and the children at the park so they feel appreciated in the Great Neck community. The volunteers played a variety of sports and activities including table tennis, soccer, and frisbee. Jack played soccer with the volunteers kicking the ball to each other. The spring weather was perfect for playing in the park. They also played in the playground together. Running around the playground and slides, they noticed that all the kids enjoying themselves and laughing merrily. Although it’s small progress, the volunteers definitely notice that Jack started to become more active and cheerful about playing sports and spending time with friends.
