On April 25, Lucy Zhang, Megan Wang, and Isabel Chen came together at
Starbucks in Edina for a meaningful community service activity. With creativity,
kindness, and enthusiasm, they personally designed and handmade beautiful
Mother’s Day cards for seniors.
Together, they completed a total of 26 handmade cards. All of the cards will be
delivered to Gifts for Seniors, where they will be distributed to seniors before
Mother’s Day, bringing holiday blessings, warmth, and kindness to those who
receive them.
This wonderful act of service not only spreads kindness to others, but also reflects
the compassion, generosity, and leadership of our young volunteers. They used their
talents and hearts to make a difference in the community. Their thoughtful actions
remind us that even small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day in a very big
way.
