AYLUS Roslyn Donates to Books for Taiwan (3rd) on April 26th, 2026

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the AYLUS Roslyn Branch came together to donate and organize books to send to Taiwan. Books for Taiwan is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support individuals who have limited access to educational resources in schools, or community centers. Since 2012, over 1.3 million children’s books have been collected and shipped across the Pacific to Taiwan.

Today, members brought in books they no longer needed, ranging from books in different languages, elementary level books, and even high school textbooks. In addition to donating books, members also helped sort and organize them, carefully packing the books into cardboard boxes for pickup and shipment.

Through book donations like these, we are able to support communities that do not have the same access to educational materials. We feel grateful to be able to take part in an effort that helps share learning resources across the world. Thank you to all members who contributed and volunteered. We look forward to continuing this work in the future!
