On the afternoon of April 19th, our volunteers hosted an art and craft activity at the West Pearland Library to celebrate Earth Day. During the event, volunteers demonstrated how to make a practical tote bag from an old T-shirt. Participants brought their own favored old T-shirts, which they then cut and tied, creating a unique, personal tote bag to take home. This initiative beautifully combined artistic creativity with environmental sustainability.
