On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the City of Pearland hosted one of the Pearland’s newest events, Spring Fest, at the Pearland independence park. The Pearland Spring Fest is a family-friendly event that presented live entertainments, the H-E-B Imagination Station, interactive attractions, many bounce houses, a craft market, and local foods and drinks. It also features a designated time solely for children with disabilities and their family.
Our volunteers arrived at the event before opening and stayed to help throughout the entire event. The volunteers’ main responsibilities were to supervise bounce houses (more than 15) during the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable play environment for children at all ages. Despite the unexpected rain and resulting inconveniences, our volunteers showed their dedication, flexibility, and positivity to ensure that the event ran as smoothly as possible.
