As the Easter season approached, Aylus Morris Branch partnered with GRACE (Giving and Receiving Assistance for our Community’s Essentials) to carry out a festive and meaningful community service project. With the goal of spreading joy while supporting local families, branch members worked together to prepare over 400 Easter eggs for distribution through GRACE’s community programs.
In the days leading up to the event, Aylus members dedicated their time and effort to carefully assemble and organize the Easter eggs. The process required teamwork, planning, and attention to detail to ensure that each egg was properly prepared and ready to be shared with community members. This activity not only created a fun and engaging experience for volunteers but also reflected the spirit of generosity and care that defines the Easter season.
On Thursday morning, March 19, members delivered the completed Easter eggs to GRACE. The organization plays an important role in supporting individuals and families in need by providing essential resources and organizing outreach initiatives. The donated Easter eggs will be included in GRACE’s seasonal programs, helping bring smiles and a sense of celebration to children and families in the community.
This collaboration highlights the impact of youth-led service and the importance of partnerships with local nonprofit organizations. Through this project, Aylus Morris Branch members were able to contribute to a meaningful cause while strengthening their connection to the community. The experience also reinforced values such as compassion, teamwork, and responsibility.
