AYLUS Great Neck volunteers for Accessible Art Program (13th) 3/10/26

On Monday, March 9th, from 17:30-19:00, joined the Accessible Art Program at Great Neck House.

Jolynn Li, Felicia Liu, Ryder Li, Catherine Tao,

We usually help students with special needs learn how to do art crafts in this program.

Today everyone picked a coloring sheet to color in, then in the end we selected the sections we wanted and filled it with glue then covered it in sand. There were many Disney princesses, Mario, and Po the panda. There were also beads that we could decorate our paper with and stickers to make our creations as beautiful as possible. Everyone sat around a table in a small room and enjoyed the arts and crafts with music and conversation flowing

through the room. At the end everyone got to make their own sand art and everyone’s creations turned out beautifully. During accessible arts volunteers get to spend time with special needs people, making their day with fun crafts and chatting with them. Every week is fun as everyone is kind to each other and helps each other.
