On March 7th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Members assisted with removing seeds from mature plants. We worked with a new species that involved different processes. We used brushes to scrape out the seeds in the branches of the plant, and sifted it through the grated box.
