On February 15th, AYLUS Houston volunteers served at the Houston Food Bank, dedicating their time to packing Senior Boxes for elderly residents in the community. During the shift, members worked together to assemble boxes filled with essential and nutritious food items, ensuring that each package was complete and ready for distribution.
Through teamwork and efficiency, volunteers were able to prepare a large number of boxes that will help support low-income seniors who rely on these resources. This effort plays an important role in the Food Bank’s mission to provide consistent and reliable food assistance to vulnerable members of the community.
AYLUS Houston is proud of the hard work and dedication shown by all volunteers and grateful to the Houston Food Bank for providing the opportunity to contribute. We look forward to continuing to serve and support the fight against hunger in the Houston area.
