AYLUS volunteers at Accessible Art Program (12th) 3/2/26

On Monday, Mar 2nd, from 17:30-19:00, Felicia Liu and Catherine Tao, in Great Neck House, Accessible Art Program

During this program, we helped students with special needs explore their creativity through art. Today we drew our own faces on paper, color the facial features with markers, and eventually stick the hair on the heads with yarns. We stylized our faces with unique characteristics. After making all these faces, we attached them onto a blank piece of paper. Each week is special since we did different fun projects with students. The purpose of doing this is to share our love with families and peers. This activity is really meaningful and successful since all of us paid effort in making art crafts. We will continue to dedicate ourselves to this program and to AYLUS’s mission, serving the community through hands-on projects that bring care, support, and opportunities to those who need them most.
