On Thursday, February 26, 2026 AYLUS volunteers, Joshua Meng and Alicia Zhang organized the 1st PJHW and Sablatura Chess Tournament. The 4-round tournament was a huge success, running very smoothly with 22 participants, all of whom were very passionate about chess. AYLUS Pearland donated the awards, consisting of 3 medals and participation awards for all the players, which was then distributed in the awards ceremony. In the future, Joshua Meng and Alicia Zhang hope to bring chess to more people.
AYLUS Pearland continues to work with the community and to support community-led events.
