On February 17, 2026, volunteers from AYLUS–Chapel Hill visited the N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital to present a special donation prepared with care and compassion. Our team handcrafted vibrant origami decorations and soft, heart-shaped pillows, each one symbolizing encouragement and strength. The hospital staff warmly welcomed the gifts and expressed their sincere thanks.
Driven by our mission as a youth-led service organization, AYLUS–Chapel Hill strives to bring comfort and encouragement to patients and their loved ones at the N.C. Basnight Cancer Hospital. We hope that these small but meaningful creations brighten hospital rooms, ease difficult days, and remind individuals undergoing treatment that a supportive community stands beside them. We are honored to contribute to the hospital’s compassionate environment and remain committed to organizing future service projects that inspire hope and kindness.
