On February 8, 2026, the AYLUS Howard County Branch proudly participated in the HCCS Spring Festival celebration at Guilford Park High School as part of our community fundraising efforts. The event brought together families, students, and local organizations to celebrate culture, community, and the arrival of spring, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
To support our programs, our members worked together to prepare a variety of homemade foods for sale, including flavorful Sichuan cold noodles, delicious Korean-style rice cakes, and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. From food preparation and packaging to marketing and sales, our volunteers demonstrated teamwork, responsibility, and enthusiasm throughout the entire process.
We are excited to share that we raised over $150 in profit — and even more exciting, we completely sold out of all our food items! The positive feedback and encouragement from attendees made the experience even more meaningful, as many guests expressed how much they enjoyed our dishes.
The funds raised will be used to support our programs, including Music In Town. We are grateful for the opportunity to combine service, culture, and leadership in one meaningful event, and we look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in our community.
