Activity & Impact
On Sunday, January 25, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, three members of the AYLUS North Hollywood branch volunteered at a community composting event held at Griffith Park.
During the event, volunteers supported the park by managing the compost bin systems and ensuring proper waste sorting. Members tended and sifted compost piles for the process of decomposition. Food scraps collected from community members were processed and transformed into nutrient-rich compost for future reuse.
